Giles Gardening at J.J. Cardinal's

Gretchen attended a presentation on the “Hottest New Plants”. As we start to think about spring planting and our containers, here are a few that are on Gretchen’s short list to try in ANNUALS.
Dusty Miller, “New Look”. With bigger leaves, it has more architectural structure and works well with blues and purples and is easy to grow.
“Canary Wings” begonia has chartruese leaves and vivid blooms. Very striking
Ipomoea sweet potato vine…available in both a chartreuse and deep purple leaf, it is less aggressive than traditional sweet potato vine.

Stay tuned for more new plants in shrubs and trees as well.

Brand new publication from Michigan’s own Carl Sams and Jean Stoick….
“Children in the Woods”. We have autographed copies by both the author and photographer. A visual feast and sweet story to share with the young people in your life.

The bird is powered by its own life and by its motivation.
